LOONEY TUNES “CHINBALL”

To succeed as a team, you have to pay a lot of attention to one another and trust one another… like the Baby Looney Tunes! They’re all different, but they each use their different qualities for the good of the group: that’s what makes them such good friends and builds their successes. “Chinball” is a fun game where the winners are often… the best of friends!

Equipment:
A tennis ball, a small balloon or an orange

Place:
Outdoors

Number of players:
At least two teams of four or more children

Start by forming the teams, either by drawing lots or by groups of friends… And why not have girls against boys? You can have between two and four teams, each with up to six children: the more players there are in a team, the harder the game becomes!

The aim? To pass a ball from one team member to the next, but… without using your hands or feet: you’re going to have to imagine other ways of holding it!

You start by putting the ball under the chin of the first player in each team. Then, when someone shouts “Go!”, let your imagination run wild! Under the chin again, between the knees, under an arm, in the fold of an elbow… you can try any method you like to pass the ball to your neighbour, as long as it doesn’t fall to the ground!

The winning team is the one which passes the ball down the line from the first team member to the last in the shortest time. If there are not very many players in the teams, you can decide to pass the ball down the line of players and back up to the start again, and the game can also take place in several legs.

To win, you have to respect one another, trust one another, know one another well and never lose your cool… that’s the spirit of the Baby Looney Tunes!
